Womankind is participating in the Big Give Campaign, Kind2Mind, this Mental Health Awareness Week, raising vital funds for our helpline.

The helpline handled a record 6,523 calls last year, offering a lifeline for many women and girls experiencing difficult life events. Every week, women and girls contact our helpline because they are struggling with anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts, trauma, domestic or sexual abuse, miscarriage, grief, and more. Our trained helpline volunteers offer confidential and non-judgemental listening support to these callers.

With demand for the helpline at an all time high, we aim to raise £10,000 over 7 days, allowing us to scale up the helpline, recruiting and training additional volunteers to ensure every call is answered.

Although this is an ambitious goal, this campaign is match funded by The Big Give, meaning every donation made through the Big Give platform will be doubled until the target is reached, so every donation goes twice as far!

The campaign is live for 7 days and will run until Sunday 21st May. If you can, please support Womankind’s vital helpline service so that every call can be answered and no woman faces mental health challenges or crises alone.
