Women’s Aid is a national charity working to end domestic abuse against women and children. Their website has lots of useful resources including the Woman’s Aid Survivor’s Handbook.

Women’s Aid Survivor’s Forum


A safe space online for women who have experienced domestic abuse. Moderated online community with message boards on a variety of topics – a good source of emotional and psychological support (and information, and solidarity) for women coming to terms with their experiences.

National LGBT+ Domestic Abuse Helpline


The helpline is for LGBT+ people who have or are experiencing domestic abuse. They are also here for people supporting a survivor of domestic abuse; friends, families and those working with a survivor.

Finding Legal Options for Women Survivors (FLOWS)
