Following the latest government guidance which ended restrictions relating to Coronavirus (COVID-19), Womankind is moving forward with caution. All visitors to Womankind are encouraged to wash or sanitise their hands on arrival. Womankind also encourages staff, volunteers and service users to:
• Get vaccinated
• Let fresh air in if meeting indoors
• Consider wearing a face covering in crowded, enclosed spaces

We are pleased to confirm that our counselling, groups and befriending services are all available as face-to-face services, but we are also able to offer women a flexible alternative of online or phone support for our in-person services, depending on their needs and preferences.

We are asking all service users to please remain at home if they test positive for Covid-19 or display any relevant symptoms, and inform Womankind so that alternative support can be offered while you are unwell.

Womankind is committed to ensuring the health and well-being of women in our community, our staff and our volunteers, and to providing support for women who have been disproportionately affected by the pandemic.

This statement will be updated if/when circumstances change.
