We are delighted that the National Lottery has awarded a five year grant to Womankind! This will make a major contribution to the costs of running our Befriending service for women who are isolated with poor mental health, many of whom are survivors of sexual violence. It will also support our telephone and webchat helpline, which has provided a lifeline for women in distress, particularly during the last year of Covid. A big thank you to the players of the national Lottery for helping to secure the future of these vital services.
